Advocacy for Carers

Healthwatch

An advocate is someone who can both listen to you and speak for you in times of need. An advocate is not part of the NHS so will not give their personal opinion. The advocate will also help defend your rights and responsibilities and speak out for you and with you about things that matter to you. They can go to meetings, write letters or reports and speak on your behalf.
